Laco is a native of Slovakia in Central Europe. His passion for building and architecture started in his teenage years when he helped his dad with a complete reconstruction of a homestead his parents purchased.  Laco obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics with a concentration in mathematics in Slovakia.  It only took him a few (long) months in the banking industry to realize his passion was calling.  In 2004, Laco came to California and started working in construction, to learn the ins and outs of the trade.  He became a licensed contractor in 2012 and began developing his own specialty as a deck builder while working for Deck Masters, a family-owned, highly reputable deck builder all over the Bay Area.  During this time, Laco built & remodeled hundreds of decks, patios, sidings, railings, stairs, custom indoor closets ( and many more ) and mastered his woodworking craftsmanship.  In 2020, Laco decided it was time to go on his own and started his lacofuskaconstruction company.  Laco’s reputation is rooted in meticulous craftsmanship, accuracy stemming from his mathematical brain, high-quality standards, and honesty.

Laco devotes his free time to his family.  He lives with his wife Jana and three beautiful children in San Rafael, CA.
